Project Manager (Paving)

Our Paving Group in Dallas, TX, is looking to add a Project Manager to their team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet production and contract requirements.
  • Manage project coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies; promote a culture of safety on all job sites.
  • Oversee quality control activities, including jobsite inspections, documentation, and corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, resolving issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal leadership to align expectations and support project success.
  • Maintain responsibility for project financial performance, including budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve field or project challenges impacting scope, schedule, cost, or quality.
  • Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve project execution and outcomes.
  • Lead and participate in project meetings, documenting action items, follow-ups, and reporting progress to management.
  • Coordinate and support field operations by working onsite as needed and providing direction to field crews and staff.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, production reports, and closeout deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience required. Background in asphalt paving preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management and scheduling tools preferred.
