Director of Milling Services

Keeley Construction is looking for a Director of Milling Service to join our team. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in milling processes, equipment management, and personnel supervision. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing milling operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met or exceeded.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the milling team
  • Oversee all aspects of milling operations, including scheduling, production planning, and equipment maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to improve milling processes and enhance product quality
  • Develop and manage budgets for milling operations, implementing cost-saving initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Recruit, train, and mentor milling personnel to develop a high-performing team
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and achieve organizational objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Prepare and present regular reports on milling operations and project updates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in milling operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of milling processes, equipment, and technologies
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the milling industry
  • Leadership experience in a unionized environment is a plus
