About the Role
As a QA Analyst on the KEPM team, you will be responsible for validating the functionality, performance, and reliability of Keeper’s endpoint privilege management platform. KEPM supports critical capabilities such as privilege elevation, policy enforcement, audit logging, and enterprise integrations across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to test backend services, APIs, and security policies, ensuring enterprise customers receive a secure, compliant, and reliable experience. This role is well-suited for an early-career QA professional with a strong interest in endpoint security, operating systems, and enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing across KEPM services and interfaces, focusing on backend workflows, APIs, policy enforcement, and security configurations
- Design, document, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for new features, system updates, and third-party integrations
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand technical requirements and endpoint use cases
- Identify, document, and track defects in Jira with clear and reproducible steps
- Validate role-based access controls, privilege policies, and audit logging behavior
- Assist in defining and improving QA best practices for enterprise endpoint security systems
- Participate in QA automation discussions and contribute to automated test coverage where applicable
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for software quality
- Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments from a testing or validation perspective
- Understanding of file system permissions and privilege concepts
- Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, or endpoint identity concepts from a testing standpoint
- Foundational knowledge of QA methodologies, including functional, integration, and system testing
- Basic familiarity with backend systems, logs, and cloud-based architectures (AWS experience is a plus)
- Ability to clearly document and communicate test results and defects
- Experience using Jira or similar issue tracking tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional, remote teams
- Due to the role’s involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident)
Preferred Requirements
- Exposure to security-focused products or security-related testing
- Understanding of RBAC, privilege elevation, IAM, or endpoint security concepts
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks or scripting languages
- Experience working in CI/CD environments and Agile development workflows

5. International Transfers
Your data may be accessed by Keeper entities globally as needed for the purposes of hiring and decision making. We protect any such data transfer between Keeper entities using appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection laws.
6. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards.
7. Retention
We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.
Exceptions:
- You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention)
- You're hired (transfers to employee records)
8. Your Rights
You have the following rights and can contact us at the email below to exercise them:
- Access, correct, or delete your data, subject to applicable law and retention requirements
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw consent (where applicable)
- Request data portability
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority
If you become an employee, your rights regarding your employee record are governed by our internal Employee Privacy Notice and certain data will be retained as required under relevant laws such as employment or tax law.
