About the Role
The Commercial Contracts Manager is responsible for managing and supporting state and government contracts by ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, accurate reporting, and effective coordination across internal teams and external partners. This role works closely with Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to maintain contract documentation, manage RFP and solicitation responses, deliver training on program and compliance requirements, and serve as a key liaison with OEM partners and government contract stakeholders.
This position plays a critical role in enabling sales execution within state and government programs while ensuring contractual accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Track, manage, and maintain accurate records for a portfolio of approximately 50 state and government contracts, including commercial and contractual obligations, reporting requirements, assigned sales leadership, and state points of contact
- Manage the end-to-end RFP and solicitation response process for state and government opportunities by coordinating cross-functional contributors, ensuring compliance with requirements, and submitting responses on time
- Leverage CRM and proposal tools to track opportunities and improve proposal effectiveness
- Prepare, validate, and submit monthly and quarterly state contract sales reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to submission deadlines
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver training to Sales Operations Managers and Inside Sales Representatives on state contract reporting processes, compliance requirements, and best practices
- Serve as the primary liaison with OEM contract stakeholders, including SLED National Channel Managers, Contract Program Office Managers, Contract Management Offices, and Contract Compliance and Administration teams
- Create, maintain, and update comprehensive Contract Reference Guides for all state contracts, including Direct, CMAS (California Multiple Award Schedules), and WSCA/NASPO contracts
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to sales and operations teams regarding contract requirements, limitations, processes, and compliance considerations
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience tracking and managing obligations related to government or state contracts, including reporting and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of contract terms, documentation, and lifecycle management
- Proven ability to prepare accurate and timely reports with high attention to detail
- Experience delivering training or process documentation to cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Due to this role’s involvement in FedRAMP, all applicants must be a “US Person”
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with SLED contracts and cooperative purchasing agreements (e.g., CMAS, WSCA/NASPO)
- Familiarity with OEM contract management and sales operations environments
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Working understanding of the FAR/DFARS and other federal/SLED procurement regulations

5. International Transfers
Your data may be accessed by Keeper entities globally as needed for the purposes of hiring and decision making. We protect any such data transfer between Keeper entities using appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection laws.
6. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, consistent with our industry leading security standards.
7. Retention
We keep your data for 24 months from your last application activity, then delete or anonymize it.
Exceptions:
- You opt into our talent database for further retention by providing consent (extended retention)
- You're hired (transfers to employee records)
8. Your Rights
You have the following rights and can contact us at the email below to exercise them:
- Access, correct, or delete your data, subject to applicable law and retention requirements
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw consent (where applicable)
- Request data portability
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority
