(SF) System Administrator - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (SAL) Level 2 (TS/SCI with Poly)
Position Summary: The Kenjya-Trusant Group, LLC (KTG) is looking for a System Administrator - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (SAL) Level 2 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Great opportunity to serve the Nation!
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide support for the implementation and operation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux-based Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Install and configure Linux-based operating systems and their services according to provided specifications.
- Conduct day-to-day operations, such as account management, system health and status checks, and internal technical and security log review.
- Identify and correct common deficiencies and errors.
- Identify capacity, performance, and reliability issues and escalate them for resolution.
- Apply patches and configuration changes according to provided direction.
- Support the dispatching of hardware technicians and perform hardware maintenance.
- Automate basic tasks and use tools in order to provide concurrent management of multiple systems.
- Communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this position and the information employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- High school diploma (or GED) is required.
- Two years demonstrated IT experience in any related field.
- One year demonstrated Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration experience within the last five (5) years.
- An active Tier I certification related to Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration, such as the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.
Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $135,000.00 - $275,000.00.
