
Dataflow Sustainment Engineer (DSE), Level 1-3 (SF)
Position Summary:
The Kenjya-Trusant Group is looking for a Dataflow Sustainment Engineer (DSE) for supporting our Maryland Customer for cross domian solutions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution of cross-domain solutions.
- Provides problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Provides support for the system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this position and the information employees will be able to access; US Citizenship is required.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Poly.
Level 1:
- Five (5) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, math or business discipline from an accredited college or University may be substituted for four (4) years’ experience.
- DoD 8570 Compliance IAM Level 1 is required.
- One (1) year of Linux and one (1) year of NiFi experience is desired.
- Ensure every call, email, and chat message from customers get entered as a ticket or added to a ticket.
- Run through scripted responses to known problems out of the knowledge base.
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting prior to escalation.
- Document all changes to systems.
- Assist with filling our Data Center Approval Requests.
- Start stop NiFi Processes.
- System hardware component replacement (ram, HDD, SSD).
- Close or escalate tickets,
Level 2:
- Nine (9) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, math or business discipline from an accredited college or University may be substituted for four (4) years’ experience.
- DoD 8570 Compliance IAM Level 1 is required.
- Three (3) years of Linux and one (1) year of NiFi experience is desired.
- Assist with any ticket that is escalated from Tier 1.
- Create new documentation for repeatable solutions for Tier 1.
- Update scripted responses.
- Analyze quarantined data for determination of cause.
- Document tickets with details.
- IAVA Patch systems at each security domain.
- Reroute NiFi Data Flows around a system blockage.
- System backup restore.
- Document all changes to systems.
- Close or escalate tickets.
Level 3:
- Twelve (12) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, math or business discipline from an accredited college or University may be substituted for four (4) years’ experience.
- DoD 8570 Compliance IAM Level 1 is required.
- Five (5) years of Linux and three (3) years of NiFi experience is desired.
- Utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.
- Preliminary Root Cause Analysis.
- Analyze quarantined data for change recommendation to Policy team or Filter team.
- Assist with any ticket that DFE1or DFE2 cannot resolve.
- Upgrade systems to new versions.
- Document all changes to systems.
- System Replacement.
- Close or escalate tickets.
- Manage TO3 Personnel.
- Determines and Nominates outstanding achievements of the team members for spot award.
- Report to Program Manager.
- Maintain Daily Status Reports.
- Maintain Monthly Status Performance Statistics.
- Manage Ticket Queue.
Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
Level 1: $120,000 - $225,000
Level 2: $125,000 - $240,000
Level 3: $130,000 - $250,000
