About the Role
Range Travel is a global travel platform operating a portfolio of leading businesses across luxury travel, technology, and agency networks. We are entering our next phase of growth and are building out a high-caliber strategy function to help scale the platform and its underlying brands. Reporting to the VP, Strategy, this role will support corporate strategy and corporate development initiatives across the Range portfolio, including Kensington Tours. Responsibilities include evaluating acquisition and investment opportunities, conducting market and competitive analysis, developing financial models and strategic business cases, and supporting executive decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders, this individual will combine rigorous financial analysis with strategic thinking to identify growth opportunities, assess investments, and help shape the long-term direction of the business.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities through financial, commercial, and strategic analysis.
- Develop financial models, valuations, and investment cases to support M&A and strategic investment decisions.
- Conduct commercial due diligence, including market sizing, competitive positioning, customer economics, and synergy assessments.
- Support corporate strategy initiatives through market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and business performance assessments.
- Prepare executive and Board-level presentations supporting strategic initiatives and investment recommendations.
- Support long-term strategic planning and portfolio reviews across the Range Group.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and value creation initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and analytics to monitor strategic and financial performance..
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years post-MBA or 5+ years post-undergraduate experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, management consulting, or corporate strategy.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating businesses, investments, strategic opportunities, or major corporate initiatives through rigorous financial and commercial analysis.
- Demonstrated track record of leading structured problem-solving engagements and delivering high-quality recommendations under ambiguity and time pressure.
- Experience working directly with senior leaders and presenting complex analyses in a clear, decision-ready format.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Executive storytelling in PowerPoint, with the ability to translate complex financial and strategic analyses into compelling, decision-ready recommendations.
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis skills (including experience evaluating businesses, investments, or M&A opportunities); advanced proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance strategic thinking and financial rigor.
We provide a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Employees have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance. The expected compensation range for this position is: $115,000 to $135,000.
The actual compensation may vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
