Fitter Service Associate

Fitter Service Associate (FSA) conducts patient fitting and other patient service-related activities. This role will be reporting to the Regional Care Manager (RCM). The PCS will serve as the primary patient care representative to provide effective and efficient patient fittings, follow-up tasks, field retrievals, training of local 1099 fitters, and inventory management. This is a field-based position located in Ocala, Florida or Gainesville, Florida. This is a contract position, with the intention of
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide quality initial fittings and other patient care service-related tasks
- Oversee inventory management in high-volume service areas for efficient replacements
- Focus on providing quality patient experiences for best-in-class training
- Train hospital and skilled nursing facility staff on our Assure Cardiac Recovery System
- Engage with prescribers, caregivers and patients to coordinate patient care services
- Shifts may include daytime, evening, and weekend hours for service coverage needs
- Work in hospitals, patient’s homes and other healthcare facilities to provide patient services
- Travel locally to provide patient care services based on facility and patient availability
- Act as a Train the Trainer for local 1099 fitters to provide additional service coverage with growth
- Complete essential paperwork with the patient to receive the Assure® garment and services
- Adhere to Pledge of Confidentiality
- Information regarding a patient of this company shall not be released to any source outside of
this company without the signed permission of the patient. Furthermore, information will only be
released internally on a need-to-know basis. All Team Members will not discuss patient cases
outside the office or with anyone not employed by this company unless they are directly involved
with the patient’s case.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience Required:
- 1+ year(s) in a paid patient care experience (family care giver excluded)
- Clinical or engineering background which may include but is not limited to nurses, cardiac device sales
- representatives, clinical engineers, catheterization lab technicians, physician assistants, or ECG technicians.
- Experience in patient and/or clinician education settings
- Ability to drive an automobile with a valid driver’s license and acceptable completion of a motor vehicle report (MVR)
- Ability to consistently work remotely
- Disclosures are required for any potential relationships and referral sources
- Post offer, must be able to achieve credentialing for hospital system entry including, but not limited to:
- Documentation of vaccination and immunization status
- Completion of background check
- Completion of drug screening testing
- Review and agree to hospital policies and procedures
- Completion of online courses, i.e., HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens and Electrical/Fire Safety
Preferred:
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams
- Direct cardiac patient care experience – RN, RT, CVIS, Paramedic, CRM

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Frequent repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers, such as keyboard and mouse usage
- Frequent stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time

- Frequent phone and other business machine use
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, at times from in and out of vehicle
TRAVEL
Frequent travel by car required, in agreed upon geography, at times more than 75%.

Salary: Annualized at $80,000 - $85,000, plus bonus, depending on experience. Kestra Medical Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
