Overview: 

Ketchum is looking for a highly motivated food communications professional to work in a dynamic B2B2C environment. Do you have a passion for understanding the food and agriculture value chain - where food comes from, how it’s sourced, the sustainability practices used, and new technologies that make it safer and healthier? Do you avidly consume news about chefs, and culinary trends, and seek to understand what’s new and next in consumer behavior and the impact on food innovation? Do you have experience working on integrated marketing teams with a strong aptitude for brand marketing, print/digital advertising, media relations, and social media engagement? The Account Supervisor plays a key role in managing and executing integrated marketing campaigns and this could be the perfect role for you.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as point of contact for key clients
  • Plan and lead integrated marketing projects, drive timelines and budgets
  • Develop full range of written materials including media pitches, press releases, website updates, proposals, client correspondence and tracking reports
  • Work closely with creative and production teams and outside vendors to execute print and digital projects so that they come in on schedule and on budget
  • Brief media, creative and research teams and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies that deliver on clients’ creative brief
  • Continually build understanding and knowledge of clients' business, competitive environments
  • Provide strategic and creative ideas, engage in strategic planning on clients’ business and agency business
  • Drive content for client meetings, industry events and trade shows, promotions, media relations
  • Proven ability to manage account financials and maintain budget status reports


Qualifications:

We’re looking for required skills, and they can come from any combination of education and experience. Diversity of thought and background are encouraged. Typical qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred 
  • Five to seven years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position
  • Very strong project management and writing skills are required
  • Experience in B2B marketing a plus, including food service, retail, ingredient (manufacturing) marketing, and agricultural communications

 

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available. #LI-Hybrid
