Overview

Ketchum’s Growth team is seeking an Executive Vice President, North America Growth to lead its dynamic growth team, managing the new business process and pipeline that helps our agency teams and clients thrive. Reporting to the CEO, North America, this role will drive meaningful strategy and growth while working closely with our Senior Leadership Team.

We'd prefer this person to work out of our New York office.  

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert and trusted counselor while bringing in new business and counseling existing business.
  • Drive agency growth in the US and Canada,
  • Establish and drive a meaningful Growth strategy, including KPIs in prospecting (including with search consultants, within OMC and key pipeline prospects), new business wins, and potential JVs/acquisitions,
  • Lead large, complicated business pitches, acting as the pitch win strategist and orchestrating the right talent needed to win.
  • Grow and maintain relationships with senior leaders across the agency and Omnicom and work to engender long term agency loyalty across teams.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders across the agency by problem-solving and delivering meaningful business results and outstanding end-to-end experiences; activate and inspire others to do the same.
  • Supervise and oversee financials and budgets in collaboration with agency partners,
  • Strengthen the business's operations, including adopting new technologies to make Ketchum faster, better, and smarter in the growth arena.
  • Develop and guide the professional growth of team.
  • Travel to lead pitches and rehearsals as needed; additional internal travel may also be required.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the market, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • A respect for and desire to be around brilliant trailblazers and gamechangers.
  • Diplomatic and empathetic leadership, passionate about inspiring and mentoring people.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles. Able to create and inspire.
  • 15+ years of experience in the public relations & communications agency industry (at least six of those years in a supervisory capacity).

 

The salary range for this position is $220,000+ . This position may be bonus eligible depending on individual employee performance and Ketchum business performance. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data.
