We are beyond proud to have created some of the most celebrated and award-winning campaigns in our industry. We’re just crazy enough to think we can impact the world – and how it responds to ideas – through communication.

We encourage our employees to be curious, brave, inspiring, and a force for good. Let’s talk. Come belong at Ketchum!

Overview:

We are looking for a Vice President with technology media expertise to join our award-winning Earned Media Center of Excellence team. The VP will be a member of the US-based team that sits on the frontlines of proactive earned media engagement on behalf of Ketchum’s clients, particularly in the technology space.

You will embody our team values – curious, courageous and committed – while working side by side with members of the media team, account team and clients, providing best-in-class media counsel, building boundary-pushing media strategiesand, most importantly, telling the stories that matter to our clients and to media.

The candidate will be anchored to one of our largest clients – and will lead media strategy and execution at the business division and enterprise level. You will have and you will build media relationships that enable you to promote technology services - from cyber security to cloud to generative AI. You will fit right in with our client and agency team because you all have technology backgrounds. Being conversant in trends and bringing a deep understanding of business technology is critical.

Not only will you have deep connections with top-tier technology, business media, and tech trades, you also will have an understanding of the media landscape and what it takes to tell a company’s story today, amidst the ever-changing external climate and competitive landscape. You will have a strong grasp of the role technology plays in business innovation, as well as gravitas and credibility when engaging with senior clients. You can pitch thought leaders, research, and POVs as effectively as you can pitch new product introductions. You also can connect dots across business groups to create a holistic story. Finally, you are a leader who will share your expertise, experience, and strategic acumen with other media team members that you will lead, include and inspire on the account.

Beyond this anchor client, you will serve as a media strategist for 2-3 additional clients and will contribute your expertise to new business opportunities and ad hoc opportunities as needed.

We are looking for a candidate who can design media strategy and work with top-tier technology and business journalists; this person will have the opportunity to work across some of the agency’s most interesting enterprise and consumer tech clients, as well as clients in other industries looking to tell stories about how technology is driving their business.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
