ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Account Executive, Non-Apparel to join the KHAITE team. This role will report to the Head of Wholesale, Global Ecommerce and North America, and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices. This role will be responsible for sales and distribution for the footwear, handbag, and accessories categories, and will manage strategic Global Ecommerce accounts and major North American department stores. This role is critical in ensuring achievement of net revenue and profitability targets, seamless customer experience, and overall business growth. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for sales analysis and compiling selling reports on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis. Developing category-specific analysis to support profitable sell-out and internal merchandising development. 
  • Cultivate trusted relationships with buyers to drive business through product opportunities, brand positioning, and proactive account management.
  • Manage high-volume and high-profile Global Ecommerce accounts through SKU counts, marketing, and online business presence to maintain merchandising standards.
  • Conduct compelling in-store training of sales staff on the brand, collection, and visual merchandising.
  • Manage market order entry, reorders, RTVs, receiving & managing purchase orders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Logistics, Finance, PR, Creative) to align wholesale with company business goals. Ability to collaborate with all members of the team to create a cohesive wholesale business across all channels.
  • Prepare premarket and business agendas for all executive meetings.
  • Work with Accounts Receivable to help collect payments when necessary.
  • Ability to travel on a frequent basis (30%).

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently with both external and internal partners
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and ability to multitask

 

Education/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or buying role within a luxury or high-growth retail environment
  • Experience managing large department store accounts, including established contacts in department stores buying departments
  • Understanding of budget process, sales, and retail performance KPIs
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of fashion industry and market trends
  • Strong digital and IT skills, including MS Office. Experience with RLM & Joor a plus
  • Passion and appreciation for the brand and product

WE OFFER

The salary range is $80,000-100,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience. Other benefits include medical, dental, and vision programs, a company bonus plan, employee discounts and perks, a 401k plan with employer match, and other ancillary benefits.

New York Pay Range

$80,000 - $100,000 USD
