About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced machine learning engineer to join our team.
As a machine learning engineer you will work closely with data scientists, MDs and software developers to develop, train and serve models as well as building AI systems that are changing the health industry sphere. If you are passionate about AI, machine learning, code quality and want to work on cutting-edge “do good” projects with a talented and dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and implement machine learning models and pipelines.
- Study, transform, and convert data science prototypes.
- Optimize inference , train and fine-tune machine learning models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to improve the company's products and services.
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of experience designing and implementing machine learning models.
- 3+ years of industry experience with Python.
- Experience with transformers, torch, CUDA and other low level ML libraries.
- Familiarity with inference optimization techniques (SGLang/TensorRT/VLLM)
- Familiarity with tuning frameworks and libraries (Torchtune/trl/unsloth)
- Familiarity with relevant Machine learning algorithms
- Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms such as Google cloud, Azure, or AWS.
- Knack for code quality and optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ML workflow frameworks such as Kubeflow Vertex pipelines, AirFlow or Sagemaker pipelines (Nice to have!).
