About the role:

We seek a motivated and experienced machine learning platform engineer to join our team. As a machine learning platform engineer, you will work closely with data scientists and DevOps to develop the infrastructure, ecosystem libraries, and pipelines needed for our data science team's various uses. You will collaborate daily with data scientists and take ownership of model development, health, and maintenance. What you'll be doing:

• Develop and maintain our ML ecosystem libraries
• Develop and maintain DS code, Dockers, KFP pipelines and k8s workloads.
• Develop and maintain CI scripts
• Code review your peers
• Collaborate with data scientists and stay tuned to their needs
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate machine learning models into production systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to improve the company's products and services.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of industry experience with Python or C++/Rust/Java/Go.
• 5+ years of backend/platform development
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud (advantage), Azure, or AWS (Including ML workflow frameworks such as KFP/Vertex pipelines).
• 2+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with ML/AI development (A must).
• Experience with transformers, torch, CUDA, and other low-level ML libraries.
• Familiarity with inference optimization libraries (TGI/VLLM/ etc ..)
• Familiarity with tuning frameworks and libraries (Torchtune/trl/unsloth)
• Knack for code quality and optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills and attitude
• Collaborative Mindset, able to work closely with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

We offer competitive compensation packages based on industry benchmarks for function, level, and geographic location. Offer amounts are determined by multiple factors such as a candidate's experience and expertise.
