Social Media Content Creator (Part-Time)
Who we are:
Founded in 2016, K Health's mission is to deliver accessible, high-quality healthcare at scale. As a leading clinical AI company in primary care, K Health has developed a suite of clinical AI agents that enhance provider efficiency and improve patient outcomes. K Health's virtual primary care platform is enhanced by an AI copilot to complete the initial patient intake, summarizing relevant history from the EMR, and generating “the perfect note” to reduce the time providers spend on basic data collection and non-clinical tasks. Unlike other virtual medicine companies, K Health delivers comprehensive, longitudinal primary care in a virtual setting, enabling our clinicians to be true primary care providers without sacrificing scope of practice or continuity of care.
As a venture-backed startup trusted with nearly $400 million in funding and a $900 million valuation as of July 2024, K Health is well-positioned for sustained future growth. We are expanding our partnerships with major health systems (Cedars-Sinai, Hackensack Meridian Health, Hartford HealthCare), enhancing accessibility and quality of care by pairing people with technology. Our providers are credentialed at these renowned academic health systems and adhere to their clinical guidelines, ensuring patient-first, evidence-based care. Fully integrated into Epic, our AI platform enables K Health to operate as an extension of existing healthcare systems, benefiting from a built-in network of specialists and social services to seamlessly serve patients within those communities. Our unique care delivery model enables our providers to deliver the same high-quality, accessible care to a mixed-payer population, including those with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.

About the Role
K Health is looking for a sharp, digitally native, and witty Social Media Content Creator to join us for a high-impact, one-month residency. Working directly with our leadership team, you will be the voice of K Health during a massive wave of PR activities, including the launch of PatientGPT, major health system announcements, and powerful patient and doctor stories.
We aren’t looking for a traditional corporate marketer; we want someone who lives and breathes social media—specifically LinkedIn and X—and can translate complex healthcare innovation into engaging, daily narratives. This is a part-time contract (~10-15 hours a week) with a direct path to a full-time role based on your impact after the first month.
What you will do
- Direct Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with leadership to ghostwrite and refine daily posts for LinkedIn and X.
- Storytelling: Transform raw updates about PatientGPT and health system partnerships into compelling, must-read social threads and posts.
- Humanizing Tech: Take real stories from doctors and patients and share them in a way that feels authentic, emotional, and accessible.
- Engagement: Anticipate the conversation; identify the most effective paths to reach our audience and accelerate the spread of our mission.
- Move Fast: Operate with a high Bias to Move Fast, turning real-time PR updates into live content without needing constant oversight.
What we are looking for
- Social Fluency: You have a deep, intuitive understanding of what performs on X and LinkedIn. You know the difference between a corporate post and a viral thread.
- Intelligence & Wit: You can take high-level concepts and make them funny, smart, and relatable.
- Location: Must be based in the United States, ideally in or around NYC.
- Education: A college degree is preferred.
- Ownership Mentality: You treat every post as your personal responsibility and act as the owner of your domain.
- Ambiguity Tolerance: You thrive when things are moving quickly and information is shifting; you provide clarity when the path isn't perfectly clear.
- Note: No healthcare or tech industry background is required. We value your voice and your brains over your specific industry experience.
Bonus
- Located in New York City (or the surrounding area).
- Experience in creative writing, comedy, or high-growth startup environments.
- A public portfolio of personal or professional social media growth.
