Role Overview

The Student Loan Professional helps borrowers understand repayment options, forgiveness programs, and strategies to manage student loan debt.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 30-minute consultations with borrowers
  • Explain federal repayment plans and forgiveness options
  • Help customers understand income-driven repayment programs
  • Educate customers on deferment, forbearance, and consolidation options
  • Discuss strategies to reduce long-term student loan costs

Ideal Background

• Student loan counselor, financial advisor, or loan servicing professional
• Experience working with federal and private student loans
• Familiarity with borrower protection programs and repayment options
