Service Administrator

Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of service administrator in our Corona location.

Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries.

Job Responsibilities

Is responsible for overseeing administrative details within the service department. This individual must supervise their own work as well as those in their department, requiring positive and direct communication with customers and fellow employees.

  • Help plan and execute repair of all equipment and systems with a high quality of work that is satisfactory to the customer and is up to company standards. Review customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service request, type of malfunction, and job details.
  • Manage and organize the working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs. Would also include overseeing service quote development and presentations, review of jobs completed and invoicing.
  • Manage field vehicles per DOT guidelines.
  • Manage the safety meetings and following/developing safety policy & procedures.
  • Communicate with customers in respectful, honest, and clear ways, employing excellent customer service.

General skill requisites

  • Able to prioritize many projects.
  • Excellent communications skills. This includes strong computer skills.
  • Good, safe work habits.
