Parts and Operations Associate

Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of Parts and Operations Associate in our Saint Anthony location. Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. Key Responsibilities:
As the Parts and Operations Associate, you will:
- Customer Support & Sales:
- Assist customers, outside sales representatives, and service technicians with parts inquiries and order processing.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer part systems and pricing.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person, addressing questions, sourcing parts, and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining awareness of order statuses and proactively communicating updates.
- Act as a resource for service technicians by locating and securing necessary parts efficiently.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Pick, pack, ship, and receive parts with precision and attention to detail.
- Organize and move parts within the yard, shop, and warehouse.
- Operate equipment such as telehandlers, walkie stackers, and other machinery as needed.
- Delivery Duties:
- Load, transport, and deliver items safely and on schedule to customers.
- Review delivery orders for accuracy and customer satisfaction, ensuring all charges are correct.
- Follow assigned routes, maintain a clean driving record, and adhere to all transportation laws and safety protocols.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required.
- General Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain reports and documentation related to sales, deliveries, and warehouse operations.
- Contribute to maintaining high employee morale and achieving departmental goals.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of warehouse organization and parts sales processes (experience preferred but not required).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items and to walk or drive for extended periods.
- Familiarity with computer systems and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- A self-driven, detail-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
