Engagement Specialist

The Engagement Specialist is not just the first point of contact—they are the cornerstone of our client support system. Using your clinical insights, you will conduct brief, initial assessments during calls, identify client needs, and provide immediate, resource-based support. Your role is critical in creating a safe, stigma-free environment and ensuring each individual receives compassionate, high-quality care from the very first interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct brief client assessments during initial calls
- Provide crisis support, facilitate client admissions, referrals, and resource navigation
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance to ensure a seamless client experience
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation using CRM, EMR, and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver personalized, effective care
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation supporting client engagement during critical moments
- Optional based on qualifications: Provide direct care through telehealth counseling sessions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field (preferred)
- Counseling intern or related experience in mental health, crisis intervention, or client-facing roles (acceptable)
- Licensed therapists or clinicians are encouraged but not required; licensure is a plus
- 1+ years’ experience in client support, crisis response, or healthcare (preferred)
- Compassionate, professional, and committed to supporting client success
- Strong communication, organizational, and digital skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM/EMR platforms)
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly valued and will be reflected in compensation
- Availability for 40 hours/week, including holidays and weekends
