Community Outreach Coordinator (Colorado)

Why This Role Matters:
As our Community Outreach Coordinator, you’ll help strengthen Colorado communities by expanding access to responsible gaming education and behavioral health resources. By building meaningful partnerships across healthcare, education, military, and community organizations, you’ll help ensure more people have the knowledge and support they need to thrive.
What You'll Do:
- Lead community outreach initiatives that raise awareness of responsible gaming education, behavioral health resources, and Kindbridge Research Institute programs
- Support implementation of key KRI programs, including the Healthy Gaming Education Program, Stigma Stand Down, and Financial Stability & Responsible Gambling initiatives
- Build and nurture partnerships with community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, nonprofit partners, and public health agencies across Colorado
- Travel throughout Colorado (approximately 50%) to meet with partners, attend community events, deliver trainings, and expand KRI’s presence across the state
- Plan and facilitate educational workshops and trainings for youth, parents, clinicians, community leaders, and public audiences
- Engage military and veteran communities, partnering with military bases, veteran service organizations, and military family networks to expand behavioral health education and reduce stigma
- Contribute to public awareness campaigns, helping distribute educational materials and support digital outreach promoting responsible gaming and behavioral health
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and community partners to align outreach activities with KRI’s strategic priorities
- Track outreach efforts and community engagement, supporting program evaluation, grant reporting, and measurement of program impact
- Coordinate logistics for outreach activities, including community events, trainings, conferences, and virtual or in-person briefings
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, behavioral health, social sciences, communications, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in community outreach, public health, nonprofit program coordination, or a related field
- Experience building partnerships with community organizations, nonprofits, healthcare providers, or public health agencies
- Experience coordinating outreach events, trainings, or community education initiatives
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple outreach initiatives while tracking engagement activities and supporting program reporting
- Experience working with military, veteran, or first responder communities a plus
- Familiarity with behavioral health, addiction services, or responsible gaming programs a plus
- Experience supporting grant-funded public health programs or working within Colorado’s public health or nonprofit ecosystem a plus
- Experience with CRM or data tracking software a plus
- Must be based in Colorado with the ability to travel statewide (~50%)
