How you'll have an impact at Kinder’s: As an Inventory Control Specialist, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for all Sauce and Seasoning inventory and deployment needs. This position directly contributes to reducing inventory-related costs, enhancing order fulfillment efficiency, and maintaining optimal stock levels across our supply chain. Your role will directly support Kinder's business objectives and growth, consistently reflecting our company values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain audit reports to identify open items, working with the teams to resolve.
  • Research and troubleshoot any data variances or inconsistencies and perform routine data validation.
  • Audit inventory to keep systems in balance.
  • Research and resolve all key issues, adjustments and discrepancies.

  • Provide robust inventory variance and damages analyses and reporting, supported with complete and accurate evidence of amounts recorded and calculations performed.
  • Research and resolve all key issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper documentation of inventory transactions and adjustments.
  • Analyze and report transaction histories to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Participate in development and testing of new systems that involve data. Design, review and modify inventory audit criteria, processes, procedures, and reports for the purpose of improving and/or maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory workflows and suggest process improvements to reduce shrinkage, overstocking, and stockouts.
  • Coordinate with QA on release of product at warehouses as well as keeping systems updated.
  • Reconcile 3PL and Ecom warehouses.
  • Maintain SLOB Inventory reporting.
  • Work closely with production, logistics, operations, and finance teams.
  • Support Cycle Count/ Physical Inventory Process.
  • Plan and coordinate deployment timelines, ensuring alignment with project deadlines.
  • Schedule deployment windows to minimize business disruption.
  • Communicate timelines and expectations with all involved teams.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in consumer-packaged goods supply chain or operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to set and achieve goals and engage in creative problem solving.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail are necessary, as well as commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Team player that works well cross functionally and seeks to collaborate across multiple functional areas in the organization.
  • Flexible, efficient, and motivated self-starter that requires little direction, with a proven ability in creative problem solving and managing multiple priorities
  • A commitment and passion for being an active participant in our fast-paced, high growth company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) products. Familiarity with SAP a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Location & Travel

The position will be based out of our 20,000 sq. foot office in Walnut Creek, CA. We strongly believe in the power of culture and community and have a hybrid work structure with 4 days in the office on a weekly basis to encourage collaboration and personal connections that will allow us to better serve our customers and consumer and to have more fun.

Some travel will be required for this role on a periodic basis. Typical travel includes industry conferences and key customer visits.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $90,000- $110,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
