Marketing Coordinator

Venice, CA — Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

About Kindo

Kindo’s mission is to be the most trusted AI company.

We build a secure and controllable layer that allows enterprises to safely adopt AI. Our platform enables organizations to connect AI to internal data, build agents and assistants, and automate multi-step workflows, all with enterprise-grade governance and security.

We operate at the intersection of AI, automation, and cybersecurity, and we are building an AI-native company from the ground up.

Role Overview

As Marketing Coordinator, you will be the operational execution engine behind Kindo's enterprise AI security platform and Deep Hat; our proprietary, internally-built LLM designed specifically for offensive security and red team workflows.

This is not a traditional coordination role. We are looking for someone who operates with an AI-first, automation-first mindset. Someone who actively uses AI tools to increase leverage, streamline execution, and improve marketing velocity.

You will partner closely with the Marketing Lead to maintain program momentum across community-building, social operations, field events, webinars, and campaign execution.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active in technical communities and can help execute marketing programs across social media, events, and partnerships in the AI and cybersecurity ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

Own Organic Social & Community Engagement

  • Manage day-to-day activity across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and relevant forums

  • Monitor conversations within AI, LLM, and cybersecurity communities

  • Draft posts, engage with industry conversations, and respond to mentions

  • Identify creators, influencers, and technical voices in the ecosystem

  • Help grow Kindo’s presence in developer, AI, and security communities

Execute Event Marketing Programs

  • Support promotion and logistics for field events such as conferences, VIP dinners, and roadshows

  • Draft event promotions including social posts, emails, and landing page copy

  • Coordinate vendors, shipments, and onsite logistics

  • Work with internal teams to coordinate participation from engineering, sales, and leadership

  • Help ensure events drive meaningful engagement and meetings with security leaders

Support Campaign Execution

  • Draft and publish marketing content across social media and campaign channels

  • Coordinate with external agencies to keep campaigns on schedule

  • Assist with campaign messaging and landing page concepts

  • Maintain campaign documentation and track performance

Support Influencer & Community Partnerships

  • Identify relevant voices within AI and cybersecurity communities

  • Assist with outreach and coordination for product reviews and collaborations

  • Manage day-to-day communication with community partners

AI & Automation Expectations

We expect this role to actively leverage AI across the marketing stack.

Examples include:

  • Using LLMs to draft and iterate on social and campaign copy
  • Automating reporting, tracking, and campaign workflows
  • Building lightweight internal automations to reduce manual tasks
  • Leveraging AI for research, positioning, and creative testing

This role should consistently ask:

“Can this be automated or improved with AI?”

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, community, social, or event coordination
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple work streams
  • Clear written communication skills
  • Working familiarity with B2B marketing fundamentals
  • Ability to operate independently and execute programs with minimal direction

Preferred

  • Interest in AI, developer ecosystems, or cybersecurity communities
  • Experience supporting event logistics or field marketing programs
  • Experience managing or contributing to company social media presence
  • Familiarity briefing and QA’ing creative assets (Canva, Figma, etc.)
  • Fluency with AI automation and workflows
  • High ownership and proactive execution style

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary ($75,000–$95,000) + equity
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Unlimited vacation and paid time off
  • A flexible and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth
  • The opportunity to work alongside a talented team shaping the future of secure AI
  • The chance to be part of a groundbreaking company at the forefront of generative AI

Company Culture

  • Start-up and entrepreneurial mindset: High energy, strong bias for action, and belief in the massive opportunity in front of us
  • Strong ownership culture: Full ownership of core responsibilities while contributing ideas beyond your lane
  • Fast-paced and action-oriented: Focused on velocity, minimal process, and outcomes over optics
  • Empathy and constructive feedback: Direct communication, intellectual honesty, and respect for diverse working styles
  • Collaboration and support: We work as a team and rely on each other to win

Kindo is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to building a diverse team.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
