Deburr Technician

Essential Job Function |
Removes burrs and sharp edges from parts according to customer specification or blue prints • Demonstrates proficiency in the use of a variety of hand and power tools • May perform other duties necessary • Visually and dimensionally inspects part for burrs and sharp edges • Trains and instructs other employees as directed • Perform parts measurements and quality checks using digital height gages and calipers; also go / no-go and thread gages • Enter work order confirmations in Traceability software • Record measurement data in MMS /QC Gage databases • Manual deburring and visual inspection of parts after machining using a variety of powered hand tools • May perform other duties as requested |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
· Fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement · Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods. · Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses and maintenance. · Able to sit for long periods of time |
