Summary: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment both inside and outside the facility. Must be self-motivated & proactive. Takes pride in their work and wants to consistently improve.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Clean walls, stalls, mirrors, floors, toilets, sinks, & urinals in all restrooms. Refill all paper towels, toilet paper, & soap dispensers
- Break rooms- Wipe down all surfaces, clean refrigerators, and microwaves, organize and keep track of break room supplies
- Clean and dust lobby’s, clean all windows inside and outside, vacuum and mop
- Deep clean/organize of certain shop areas at a time then maintain it to that level of cleanliness.
- Sweep and mop office tile floors, vacuum office carpet, empty shredders
- Maintain and organize cleaning supply inventory
- Wash interior and exterior windows
- Maintain/clean shop floors throughout the whole shop.
- Clean/wipe down machinery
- Clean/wipe down spray booths
- Clean wash tanks and replace water and cleaning solution.
- Take out all trash and clean trash barrels when needed.
- Must work as a team with maintenance personnel
- Clean up spills
- Dispose of scrap metal - Bring scrap metal out to the scrap shed and bring new barrels back in
- Help organize and maintain operator area cleanliness
- Keep pallets stacked and organized outside.
- Bring empty crates to crate shed and keep crate shed organized.
- Snow removal/ salt spreading during the winter for all pathways to the door (parking lot is maintained by outside source)
- Collect dirty mats and rags and replace with new ones brought in by an outside source.
- Assist with coolant changes as needed
- Assist with furniture moves/office relocations
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Previous janitorial experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
Normal Production environments, subject to moderate noise levels from manufacturing equipment; working in close proximity of moving equipment and potentially sharp machine parts; climate-controlled work environment with adequate venting to minimize breathing fumes, dust and mist; PPE provided to minimize skin exposure to oils, cutting fluids, and sharp metal edges.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
