Job Position Summary: Oversee the implementation maintenance and optimization of ERP system ensuring it supports the business operations. Responsible for ensuring the ERP system supports business processes, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and improves overall operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Preferred
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Infor-Visual ERP experience
- In-depth knowledge of relevant programming languages
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage projects and get them done in a timely manner.
- Ability to adapt to business needs.
- Strong communication skills to convey information and provide instructions.
- Ability to work well with other employees.
- Ability to Identifies areas for improvement and think strategically to enhance efficiency.
- Ability to identify root cause and solve problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Familiar with the Manufacturing process and equipment.
- Proficient Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.
- Manages and oversees the day-to-day operation of the ERP system, including but not limited to user access, data security and system upgrades.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the ERP system.
- Ensure the ERP system supports business operations across departments.
- Conduct discovery meetings to identify and capture ERP business requirements, and operational objectives.
- Lead project management for ERP system upgrades, version migrations, and new feature implementations.
- Conduct ERP upgrade post-implementation follow-ups, ensuring user satisfaction and addressing concerns.
- Ensure ERP solutions are implemented, including but not limited to customizations, macros, dashboards, workflows, queries, etc.
- Create/modify custom reports, dashboards, and data loading templates.
- Manage electronic data uploads (customer demand forecasts) or downloads, as required.
- Support business leaders in preparing strategic plans, budgets, financial forecasts, capacity models, or other documentation.
- Support Year End Physical Inventory Count
- Collaborate with IT, and Quality Departments to ensure any business regulatory compliance requirements (CMMC, ISO, DFARS, ITAR, etc.) related to the ERP system are implemented and adhered.
- Develop and implement change management processes to minimize disruption during system changes and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issue.
- Maintain documentation of ERP system configurations, processes, and work instruction procedures
- Follow 6s Procedures and maintains a clean organized work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- This is a fully on-site position five days per week.
- Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.
- May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have ability to read applicable internal documents with or without corrective lenses.
- Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time, consistently through the day.
- Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
