Staff Accountant

About the Staff Accountant Role:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for properly recording accounts payable transactions, setting up recurring subscriptions, and assisting the accounting manager in the closing of month end financial transactions.
The Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
- Assists in month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Handles accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.
- Conducts regular financial analysis, maintains financial records, identifies trends, and provides recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Follows up on invoice approvals from key stakeholders.
- Reconciles subscription revenue and sales records to ensure completeness.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and Stripe strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be willing to work extended hours if needed.
- Valid work authorization required.

Staff Accountant Pay Range
$65,000 - $80,000 USD
