The role

As the Creator Representative on the Kit Ads team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Ads lifecycle—from onboarding new creators and consulting on ad monetization strategies, to optimizing performance and reporting. Serving as the go-to advisor and advocate for creators, you’ll recommend best practices, help creators maximize revenue from their newsletters and content, and ensure a seamless experience for brands. You’ll act as a liaison between creators and internal teams—namely Product, Engineering, and Sales—and play a key role in refining Kit’s ad program to drive sustainable growth for both creators and Kit.

You’ll report into the Head of Kit Ads and collaborate closely with the Kit Ads Sales team, Finance, Marketing, and external ad tech providers. If you thrive on guiding creators to monetize effectively while juggling multiple campaigns, stakeholder relationships, and platform optimizations, this role is perfect for you.

The work

As the Creator Representative on the Kit Ads team, you will:

  • Manage the end-to-end Ads lifecycle
Onboard creators, provide consultative guidance on ad formats and newsletter placements, and oversee campaign setup and trafficking.
  • Educate and optimize for creator monetization
Act as an internal consultant to creators, recommending best practices, offering tailored ad strategies, and actively optimizing campaigns to enhance revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Kit Ads Sales
Work hand-in-hand with the Sales team to identify new revenue streams, craft customized media plans, and deliver relevant data to close deals.
  • Create, maintain, and refine ad operational systems
Develop CRM, inventory, and reporting solutions to track progress and performance across creator campaigns, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee campaign performance and reporting
Gather accurate metrics on opens, clicks, and conversions, delivering timely updates to creators, brands, and internal teams (Sales, Finance).
  • Manage third-party partnerships
Liaise with strategic partners to implement best practices, update brand guidelines, and ensure smooth campaign execution.
  • Enforce program guidelines and shape program evolution
Uphold established guidelines, address compliance issues quickly, and partner with Product & Engineering to suggest and implement improvements that drive sustainable growth.
  • Handle creator support and relationship-building
Respond promptly to creator inquiries, troubleshoot campaign issues, and propose new initiatives that drive engagement and loyalty.
  • Produce monthly updates and best-practice education
Curate a monthly newsletter or resource for creators that includes upcoming brand opportunities, performance insights, and tips for optimal ad placement.
  • Forecast and capture data insights
Leverage performance data, brand and creator feedback, and market trends to identify improvement areas, estimate revenue potential, and advise on strategy for the entire Kit Ads program.

The skills

  • Strong digital advertising or marketing experience in a dynamic, fast-moving environment—particularly within newsletter or creator-focused channels
  • Skilled in consultative monetization, with the ability to analyze performance data, recommend ad strategies, and boost revenue potential for creators
  • Outstanding relationship management skills, proven by successful collaborations with content creators and brand partners
  • Ability to excel in operational and project management roles, comfortably juggling multiple campaigns, developing workflows, and hitting deadlines
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset; adept at interpreting performance metrics, crafting actionable insights, and communicating them to stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills; comfortable synthesizing complex information and adjusting messaging for diverse audiences—creators, sales teams, brand partners, and leadership
  • Familiarity with ad tech platforms and CRM tools, with a willingness to learn new software quickly
  • Strong adaptability in a fast-paced, iterative environment; ready to embrace change and find new opportunities for growth
  • Comfortable enforcing program guidelines, addressing compliance issues, and escalating concerns effectively

Research tells us that applicants who are female or non-binary, as well as applicants who are people of color, are less likely to apply for roles they do not feel 100% qualified for. If you think you meet more than 50% of our requirements but fewer than 100% of them, please apply. We’re imperfect communicators, so think of our job postings as the starting point for discussion rather than proof that you shouldn’t apply.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
