Senior Content Marketing Manager: Lead Gen and Creator Content
Description
Kit is an email-first operating system for creators who mean business. We help creators grow and monetize their audience with ease. For coaches, YouTubers, authors, podcasters, and other creatives, there isn't a better marketing hub to rely on to grow audiences, automate email marketing, and sell digital products — all within one platform. More importantly, there isn't a team more committed to helping creators earn a living.
We're on a mission to help creators earn $1 billion using our creator marketing platform. We have always been 100% independent and 100% remote. We are proud to have built a product that our customers love, and we look for people who have enthusiasm and belief in our mission, vision, and values to join our team.
We're also embracing AI thoughtfully — both in how we build and how we hire to ensure our team is adaptable, innovative, and ready for what's next.
The Kit culture is one where emotional intelligence is valued, radical candor is encouraged, and where everyone works together to uphold a set of shared team principles.
The role
As we scale from product-led growth to sales-led growth, we need a strategic content leader who can bridge the gap between creative storytelling and measurable business outcomes. We're looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager: Lead Gen and Creator Content to own and execute a comprehensive content strategy that drives qualified leads, accelerates our sales pipeline, and contributes directly to MRR growth. This role breaks down as 40% strategic planning, 20% cross-functional collaboration, and 40% hands-on execution.
This role is perfect for a seasoned content marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of creativity and data, loves turning strategic vision into executable campaigns, and gets energized by building systems that scale. You'll own the entire content marketing function and have direct accountability for content's impact on our revenue growth.
You’ll play a key role in helping us achieve our goal of scaling to $100M in ARR by establishing content as a primary lever for growth. That means owning strategy, leading campaigns, and building the systems that make content marketing an engine for both inbound and sales-assisted revenue.
Your support system
You’ll report to our Head of Marketing, Christina Lhi. You will be part of an 8-person team made-up of Affiliate Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Marketer, 2 Product Marketing Managers, Sr Growth Marketing Manager, Creator Educator and Social Media Content Manager. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Creative, Demand Generation, and Customer Success teams to ensure content drives measurable business outcomes.
What you'll do
- First Week: Take ownership of our content ecosystem by conducting a comprehensive audit of existing assets across blog, social, and lead magnets. Attend Get-To-Know-You (GTKY) meetings with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to understand how content can better serve business objectives.
- First Month: Complete a strategic content audit across all owned channels and competitive landscape. Shadow sales calls to identify content gaps that prevent deals from closing. Present your comprehensive content strategy framework to leadership, including specific KPIs, attribution models, and projected pipeline impact.
- First Six Months: Launch and own your integrated content strategy across all channels. Partner with the Sr Growth Marketing Manager to develop and test paid lead magnet campaigns that become our scalable playbook. Establish content attribution models that directly tie your work to revenue outcomes. Ship 3-5 major content campaigns with measurable impact on qualified lead generation and sales velocity.
- First Year: You'll be directly accountable for achieving Kit's 2025-2026 revenue targets by establishing content as a primary driver of qualified leads and pipeline acceleration. Your content strategy will be instrumental in our goal of reaching $100,000,000 ARR, with clear attribution to your contributions.
