Associate Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction, execution, and delivery; ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of works on-site.
- Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Lead site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks, ensuring adherence to approved designs and specifications.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement value engineering solutions.
- Oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Manage project reporting, including progress updates, risk assessments, and resource planning.
- Review and approve contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and work schedules.
- Lead stakeholder meetings and ensure alignment of construction activities with project goals and client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years spent in Food & Beverage or restaurant construction
- Proven experience managing BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and costing across various scopes (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Gas).
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards.
- Hands-on experience in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage large teams, contractors, and client interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or GoogleDocs, and construction management software.
- Experience with FIDIC contracts, project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), and quality control processes.
- PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential
