HR Generalist
Riyadh
We are looking for a driven and commercially astute HR Generalist to join an exciting fast paced business environment. Managing a country portfolio, the HR Generalist will partner with regional business leaders to drive the people and business strategy in Saudi Arabia. Working closely with the HRBP of the Middle East and the COE’s the ideal candidate will be used to working in a collaborative environment with a focus on speed to action whilst ensuring the employee experience is best in class.
Main Responsibilities:
HR Operations
- Manage the entire employee experience from the crucial first 90 days to building a career of substance within the Company.
- Work with the Shared Service Center to consistently review onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for the employee.
- Work with the HR ticketing system to ensure all ticket escalations that are raised from the SSC are responded to in a timely manner to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and tactfulness
- Work with the SCC to ensure all employee data is accurate and updated in the HRIS system (Workday)
- Review policies for the regions and ensure legal compliance with local labour laws
- Review employment contracts for the regions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support and provide training to the SCC to ensure 75% of first level queries can be resolved without escalation to you
- Conducts exit interviews, providing themes and feedback to the HRBP and BULs
- Manage monthly attrition reports providing strategic insight to reasons for attrition numbers
- Ensure compliance with Company Work Rules and labour legislation and stay up to date with any changes in employment legislation as required
Business Partnering
- Partner with Managers on all key employee touch points throughout the employee lifecycle
- Partner with the General Manager of Saudi Arabia on all key core HR services (performance management, OD, bonus/promotion cycles etc..)
- Manage all employment relations for the respective regions and advise and support managers on all aspects of people management
- Drive a high performance culture within regions, from managing the company performance management and calibration process to actively managing underperformance with managers
- Drive strategic workforce planning within the regions, managing position management, organizational design and development.
- Work with the central recruitment teams to ensure hires to the Company are the right fit and are placed into the correct role
- Plan through workforce reductions with the business with both a commercial lens and an employee lens
Projects & Engagement
- Ensure the effective delivery of both regional and central projects and programmes as and when required
- The Culture Champion for the regions ensuring our Company culture is embedded and brought to life everyday
You Have:
- Strong employment law knowledge within the Saudi market
- Strong Arabic and English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong influencing skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and spot trends
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to roll up your sleeves and act quickly
- Exhibits a professional, confident, and outgoing demeanor
- Commercially savvy and understands business success metrics
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation in Saudi Arabia
- Experience working with a Centre of Excellence (COE)
- Workday and Jira experience is a plus
