Our primary offering is a subscription service where we deliver "whoa awesome," hands-on projects to kids. We also manage an e-commerce storefront and a content platform to inspire and educate. Our office is located in Mountain View, CA within walking distance to the Caltrain station. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with 3-4 office days per week (depending on your team) and the remainder of the week working remotely.
About the Job:
KiwiCo is looking for a Producer with exceptional project management skills to be the point person for our Product, Merchandising, and Marketing shoots. The ideal candidate is able to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams including, Marketing, Content, Editorial, Graphic Design, and Product Design. They’re able to balance project priorities, while scheduling and running pre-production meetings and shoots.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage photo requests and oversee multiple shoots at different stages, ensuring effective coordination with cross-functional partners.
- Schedule and lead pre-production meetings and shoots.
- Source, coordinate, and manage external resources including photographers, stylists, models, studio teachers, and contractors.
- Ensure photography quality by adhering to brand style guidelines for both studio and lifestyle shoots.
- Work with children ages 0–16 on set, creating a fun, positive experience that helps capture authentic content.
- Oversee studio operations, including equipment, props, and the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Track budgets, reconcile invoices, and deliver final assets to teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
- 3–5 years of experience in creative production.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Trello).
- Detail-oriented and quality-driven, with a focus on how work impacts customers and brand.
- Excellent communicator; able to lead meetings, collaborate across teams, and manage communications with contractors and model families.
- Self-starter with a “get things done” mentality; able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
- Resourceful and flexible; capable of seeing projects through from concept to completion while solving problems creatively.
- Strategic thinker who can also develop processes and operational efficiencies in a small, nimble team.
- Comfortable working with kids; able to keep them engaged and positive, and willing to jump in as a stylist or kid wrangler when needed.
