Solution Architect

Austin, Texas, United States

Are you a strategic thinker with a technical edge and a passion for solving big business problems? Do you get energized by designing systems that scale, integrating complex platforms, and helping teams thrive through smart architecture? If so, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

We’re on the hunt for a SaaS Solution Architect who can bridge the gap between high-level vision and practical execution — someone who can architect elegant, scalable solutions that unlock real value for our customers. This is your chance to make a deep impact at a company shaping the next generation of AI-driven platforms.

About the Role

As a SaaS Solution Architect at Kizen, you'll operate at the heart of innovation — designing robust, flexible, and forward-thinking architectures that bring our AI-powered platform to life across diverse use cases. From sales and marketing to operations and customer experience, your blueprints will serve as the foundation for success across industries.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with product, implementation, and engineering teams — translating complex requirements into real-world, scalable solutions. You won’t just build — you’ll inspire, lead, and elevate the standard of what’s possible in SaaS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading solution design for complex client implementations, ensuring long-term scalability and success
  • Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and architect technical strategies that align with business goals
  • Mapping integrations between systems using APIs, ETL pipelines, and automation tools (like Workato or Zapier)
  • Developing architectural standards, best practices, and documentation to accelerate future implementations
  • Guiding implementation specialists through system configuration, customizations, and deployments
  • Identifying areas for optimization, automation, and innovation within customer environments
  • Acting as a strategic advisor during pre-sales and post-sales cycles — building trust through deep technical and business insight
  • Staying ahead of industry trends, continuously leveling up your skills, and sharing knowledge with the team

Minimum Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in SaaS architecture, solutions engineering, or implementation leadership
  • Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems, cloud infrastructure, and data architecture
  • Proven experience designing and integrating platforms via APIs and third-party tools
  • Hands-on experience with data transformation (SQL, Python, ETL tools)
  • Exceptional communicator who can navigate technical and non-technical conversations with ease
  • Deep understanding of software development life cycles (Agile, DevOps principles, etc.)
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for solving complex problems in simple, scalable ways
  • Proven ability to document and communicate architecture clearly (diagrams, specs, etc.)
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
  • Excitement to work 3-4 days a week from our Austin, TX office

Ideal Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise SaaS consulting
  • Experience with low-code platforms and building enterprise workflows
  • Industry-specific knowledge in sectors like insurance, healthcare, or financial services
  • Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps tooling
  • Experience with security frameworks, compliance requirements, and enterprise-grade SLAs
  • Familiarity with BPM platforms, CRMs, or ERPs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite)
  • Thought leadership — whether through mentoring, writing, speaking, or open-source contributions

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and design
  • Has a builder’s mindset — but thinks like a strategist
  • Loves architecting systems that are both functional and future-proof
  • Enjoys mentoring and leveling up those around them
  • Gets excited about AI, automation, and the potential of next-gen platforms
  • Is energized by fast-paced environments and mission-driven teams
  • Willingness to be hands on during Implementations to ensure success and solve the most complex customer issues.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
