New York, New York, United States

Job Title: VP, Solutions (Pre-Sales)

Pay Range: $250,000 - $350,000 plus $500,000-$650,000 Bonus

Job Type: Hybrid, Kizen NYC office, 4 days per week.

At Kizen, we’re engineering a more humane future where AI drives universal healthcare, more impactful work, world-class education, exceptional customer experiences, and — overall — a more fulfilling human experience.

Kizen is on a mission to give every team member an AI Assistant - turning every company into an AI-company, every worker into an AI-Enhanced Worker, and every Process into an AI-optimized, continuously improving process. Kizen is the first GenAI enterprise application builder. Businesses of any size, within any industry can build AI assistants for complex jobs across healthcare, finance, and HR and modern enterprise applications - like CRMs, Workflow Automation, Real Time Dashboards, and Secure Portals in minutes and perfect them in an afternoon. Kizen helps teams systematically improve processes and business outcomes with data-driven insights and powerful automation with access to all the latest AI models.

As our VP, Solutions (Pre-Sales), you’ll serve as both a strategic advisor and technical and business process problem-solver, develop detailed business requirements, and build prototypes during all stages of the sales process. This role is ideal for someone who loves getting into the details and creating transformational impacts in large enterprises — understanding real business processes, rapidly iterating, and creating high-value solutions that scale. You’ll start by building — and grow into building a team.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for someone who wants to be at the heart of the AI movement to better humanity. As the VP, Solutions (Pre-Sales) you’ll be working directly with our CEO, CTO and the executive team to shape the future of Kizen and guide our customers on their AI journey.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Personally designing and building working prototypes for new, high-potential use cases using the Kizen platform
  • Leading business discovery and translating complex requirements into clear, actionable technical documentation
  • Supporting demos and addressing technical solution questions in pre-sales cycles for both new and existing use cases
  • Scoping and estimating solution architecture needs, integrations, and implementation effort across enterprise engagements
  • Acting as the bridge between sales, product, and implementation — owning technical conversations and planning that set the stage for successful hand-offs to the implementation team
  • Building and scaling a Solutions team after demonstrating repeated success and understanding of the platform yourself (player/coach)
  • Continuously identifying opportunities for innovation, optimization, and integration across industries and verticals
  • Developing clear pictures of the current state of the tech stack in large enterprises, helping them understand future state, and charting a clear course from today to where they want to be
  • Working with large enterprises and architecting digital and process transformation - you must be able to build coalitions across diverse groups with different goals

Minimum Requirements — What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise consulting, solution architecture, and pre-sales engineering in a SaaS or tech-enabled services environment
  • Strong consulting background — with a deep understanding of business processes, operations, and workflow optimization
  • Experience designing data models and integrations (APIs, ETL processes), particularly between systems like EMRs, CRMs, ERPs, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear business and technical requirements and translate them into prototypes or POCs
  • Hands-on technology implementation skills (configuring, testing, iterating SaaS solutions)
  • Strong enterprise sales acumen — with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and support long sales cycles
  • Fast learner able to quickly ramp into new industries and use cases with confidence and curiosity
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven — able to juggle multiple pre-sales engagements with clarity
  • Executive presence with excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring technical or solution-oriented teams

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Experience in regulated industries like healthcare, insurance, or financial services
  • Familiarity with low-code platforms
  • Understanding of AI, ML, and automation concepts (we can teach this!)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern software development workflows

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

  • Want to help solve the last mile delivery problem with AI and help all stakeholders significantly improve their experiences
  • Love turning ambiguous problems into real, working systems
  • Excel at navigating both technical detail and strategic business goals
  • Enjoy building things from scratch and setting standards for others to follow
  • Can roll up your sleeves to help a deal close and a client succeed — and inspire others to do the same
  • Are energized by growth, experimentation, and fast-paced environments
  • Want to be part of a company shaping the future of intelligent systems and enterprise platforms

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
