Business Intelligence Co-op (Spring 2025)

Location: Boston, MA 

This is a 6-month (July 15th-December 19th, 2025) paid co-op experience out of our Boston, MA headquarters. 

Klaviyo is looking for a Business Intelligence Co-op to join our growing team. This person will be focused on analyzing data to drive business impact and understanding. They will have the opportunity to power our market strategy, campaign performance, product adoption and customer growth through innovative measurement, reporting, analysis and insight. They will also be asked to perform analyses on various aspects of Klaviyo’s business and operations and present findings to key stakeholders within the company. 

How you will make an impact: 

• This is a cross functional role that requires framing business problems, maintaining data needed for analysis, synthesizing results and making recommendations to the executive team and other leaders in various departments
• Create analysis frameworks to effectively answer strategic questions
• Perform hypothesis testing and causal analyses to statistically assess relative impact and extract trends
• Conduct in-depth analysis to derive actionable insights from complex data sets, contributing to strategy development and business planning
• Partner with cross-functional teams on providing insights into historical performance and build predictive models to measure future campaign ROI and evaluate efficacy
• Validate and troubleshoot any issues in data pipelines to maintain data integrity
• Develop and maintain dashboards, enabling business stakeholders to make informed decisions

Who you are: 

• Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in data science, statistics, analytics, or economics, graduating between December 2025-August 2026
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases
• Able to think critically about business operations, market dynamics, and competitive positioning, leveraging both technical and strategic perspectives to solve a problem
• Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
• Have experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Knowledge in python or R preferred
• Knowledge in marketing platforms (eg. Google Analytics, Heap, Content Square, Optimizely, DSPs) preferred

Compensation:

USD $30.50 per hour

Set up for Success: Before diving into individual teams and projects, all co-ops will complete Base Camp - Klaviyo’s week-long onboarding experience at our Boston HQ.  Base Camp provides focused time to learn about the ins and outs of Klaviyo, our product, and meet other new Klaviyos. This robust first week ensures all students join their teams fully prepared to dive into project work and make an immediate impact. 

Co-ops make an Impact: Our co-ops contribute to mission-critical projects for Klaviyo. No matter what team you join, you’ll be making a direct impact on our product and/or customers.
