Product Design Co-op (Fall 2026)
This is a 6-month (July 6th-December 18th, 2026) paid co-op experience out of our Boston, MA headquarters.
As a Product Design Co-op at Klaviyo, you’ll learn what it’s like to work as a product designer on Klaviyo’s Product team, whose mission is to craft fast, intuitive, and inspirational products to deepen the relationships our customers have with their customers and help grow their business.
You’ll support ongoing design work, contribute to features that ship, and build a strong foundation in product design through hands-on experience and mentorship.
This role is designed for students who are curious about product design and want to grow their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You won’t be expected to have everything figured out. You will be expected to learn, ask good questions, and take feedback seriously.
How you will make an impact:
- Contribute to real product design work on active teams, supporting features from early ideas through final UI
- Create wireframes, flows, and visual designs that help customers complete key tasks with clarity and confidence
- Help simplify complex workflows by focusing on usability, hierarchy, and clear interactions
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to understand constraints and tradeoffs
- Participate in design critiques and apply feedback to improve the quality of your work
- Learn how data and emerging technologies, including AI, are thoughtfully incorporated into product experiences
Who you are:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, with an expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028, in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field
- Have class projects, personal projects, or a portfolio that show your interest in product design fundamentals like interaction design, visual hierarchy, or problem solving
- Curious about users and motivated to understand how products work from a customer’s point of view
- Familiar with design tools like Figma and AI tools like V0, Figma Make, or Cursor
- Comfortable receiving feedback and using it to improve your work
- Communicate clearly and enjoy working with others
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have exposure to usability testing, research methods, or design systems through coursework or projects
- Have completed coursework related to data, analytics, or technical systems
- Have prior experience working on team-based projects with engineers or product partners
