Manager, Account Executives - Remote (anywhere in the US)

As the Manager, Account Executives, you will lead and oversee the day-to-day performance of a fully remote, top-of-funnel Account Executive (AE) team. Using data, metrics, mentorship, and candid feedback, your goal is to drive consistent achievement of the company plan for lead and loan applications while delivering an exceptional experience for customers and partners.

You will serve as the primary point of support for your team, partnering closely with management to communicate team performance, identify challenges and opportunities, and implement new processes that improve results. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance coaching, accountability, and execution in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

Team Leadership, Coaching & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Account Executives—including newly trained AEs—to achieve company goals for leads and applications
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and accountability through weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and both positive and developmental performance feedback
  • Serve as the primary point of support and escalation for Account Executives, stepping in directly across channels as needed
  • Foster confidence, engagement, and accountability so AEs feel equipped to support customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve AE training processes, best practices, and standardized ramping programs
  • Ensure adherence to Knock policies, procedures, and team expectations
  • Build and maintain strong subject matter expertise across the team on Knock’s products, value proposition, and workflows

Forecasting, Metrics & Accountability

  • Monitor and manage key performance metrics daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure SLAs, conversion targets, and goals are consistently met through all channels
  • Conduct weekly pipeline and forecast reviews with every AE to:
    • Measure performance against minimum expectations
    • Evaluate pipeline health
    • Identify variances versus forecast and define clear action plans to “get to the pin”
    • Hold AEs accountable to commitments, activities, and outcomes
  • Drive pattern recognition across the team to identify what is working, what is not, and how to replicate success
  • Track and analyze recurring issues and trends; partner with leadership to identify gaps and develop scalable solutions
  • Drive conversion of leads from customers and agents

Product & Partner Expertise

  • Leverage your deep knowledge of Knock products to support AEs in growing B2B2C partnerships and converting prospects to leads and leads to applications
  • Educate the team to confidently engage lenders, real estate agents, and borrowers on how the Knock Bridge Loan works and the value proposition
  • Answer and resolve lender, agent, and borrower questions; overcome objections and/or route issues to the appropriate internal partners
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance, communicating clearly internally and following up with clients as needed
  • Manage all communication channels in alignment with established SLAs while consistently delivering a high-quality, positive customer experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Act as the primary liaison between the AE team and other Sales, Operations, and cross-functional partners to drive organizational alignment.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvement opportunities, including serving as Business Owner for product-driven solutions.
  • Support hiring, training, and managing of new Account Executives in partnership with leadership and People teams.
  • Participate in or lead ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Leadership: A team player and natural leader who is passionate about developing, mentoring, and coaching others.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally with clients and agents.
  • Real estate or mortgage industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Adaptability and sound judgment, with the ability to balance business needs and individual team needs.
  • Resourcefulness, decisiveness, and accountability, with a strong sense of ownership over the customer experience.
  • Outstanding work ethic with a proven ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and successfully manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Commitment to maintaining clear, consistent communication with your team and leadership.
  • A belief in creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices that align with Knock’s values of impact, learning, putting people first, openness, and courage.
  • Proven success working 100% remote with a distributed, national team.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant customer service, sales, or customer success experience
    • Minimum of 2 years in a lead or manager role.

We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every listed qualification. We value potential, growth mindset, and diverse experiences.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
