Data Engineers design, implement, and maintain data solutions on the cloud to power up the new and exciting products for KnowBe4’s customers, alongside other data engineers in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Responsibilities:
- Expertise working experience with programming languages like Python, and SQL
- Solid understanding of data pipeline, data platform, data lake, data warehousing and analytics
- Research, design, and implement data modeling designs to solve complex problems
- Communicate complex concepts and data pipelines to non-technical audiences through data visualizations
- Performs statistical analysis and using results to improve models
- Identify opportunities and formulate data orchestration and data modeling projects to optimize business impact
- Serve as a subject matter expert in data warehouse and analytics research, and adopt the new tooling and methodologies in Knowbe4
- Manage the release, maintenance, and enhancement of data pipeline solutions in a production environment via multiple deployment options such as APIs, embedded software, or stand-alone applications
- Advise various teams on querying best Practices and ensure the highest quality and compliance standards for data modeling deployments
Qualifications:
- BS or equivalent plus 10 years experience
- MS or equivalent plus 5 years experience
- Ph.D. or equivalent plus 4 years experience
