The VP of Training and Revenue Enablement will spearhead the strategy and execution of comprehensive training and enablement programs, ensuring seamless onboarding for new employees and driving advanced sales training, apprenticeship, and enablement initiatives. This leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous learning and performance optimization, leveraging cutting-edge instructional technology. By aligning training strategies with business goals, they will enhance workforce capability and elevate overall organizational effectiveness. Their vision and leadership will be pivotal in cultivating high-performing teams that drive sales excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement an annual strategy for the Training and Revenue Enablement function aligned with organizational objectives, using data-driven insights to adapt and evolve the approach as business needs change.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with key partners such as Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to execute productivity transformation initiatives.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing Training and Revenue Enablement team, playing an active role in the leadership and strategic direction of Revenue Leadership and Employee Experience teams.
  • Represent the Training and Enablement Division at executive-level meetings, aligning training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Sales Development leadership to design and oversee an annual training plan, encompassing comprehensive onboarding programs and ongoing training tailored to development needs.
  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of rigorous onboarding, training, and product rollout programs, incorporating diverse learning formats and certification processes.
  • Manage the implementation and adoption of learning management systems and training technologies to enhance training delivery, tracking, and measurement of effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, integrating leadership and compliance training within existing curricula.
  • Audit existing tools and collateral, identify gaps, and oversee the design and adoption of new or improved customer-facing tools and internal communications systems.
  • Evaluate and manage the tech stack to support revenue teams, ensuring optimal use of current technologies and potentially introducing new solutions.
  • Oversee the management of a content management system (CMS) and regular revenue communications.
  • Establish metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on business performance, continuously reviewing and adapting curricula as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years Sales Experience
  • 5+ years Revenue / Sales Enablement Experience
  • 5+ years of people management
  • Strong business acumen in a software related environment
  • Experience successfully working in a fast-paced Global company leading multiple projects and relationships with continuous change and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, security awareness training, Integrated Cloud Email Security (ICES) is a plus.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align training and enablement initiatives with broader organizational objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong capability to build and maintain relationships across various departments, including HR, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product, to drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Instructional Design and Development: Deep understanding in designing and implementing innovative training programs using various formats (e.g., e-learning, classroom, on-the-job) tailored to diverse learning needs and objectives.
  • Analytical and Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in using data analytics to assess training effectiveness, measure business impact, and inform strategic changes or improvements.
  • Technological Proficiency: In-depth experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other instructional technologies, with the ability to oversee their implementation and adoption.
  • Change Management: Skilled in leading change initiatives within sales and customer-facing organizations, ensuring smooth transitions and high levels of adoption at all organizational levels.
  • Team Development and Management: Strong track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
