The Opportunity
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll be the trusted technical advisor that strategic accounts rely on - bridging the gap between what prospects need and what our platform delivers. You'll own sophisticated sales engagements from technical discovery through implementation planning, designing tailored solutions that address real security awareness challenges. The successful candidate is both technically deep and commercially minded, thrives on solving complex problems, and takes genuine pride in being the technical expert who wins deals and elevates the entire team.
 
What You'll Do
Technical Leadership: Lead complex sales engagements with enterprise and strategic accounts, conducting in-depth technical discovery, addressing sophisticated objections, and designing comprehensive solutions that showcase the full value of our platform across diverse use cases and industries.
Solution Design & Delivery: Build and present compelling technical demonstrations tailored to each audience—whether security teams, IT directors, or C-level executives—articulating our product's architecture, integration capabilities, and competitive advantages in ways that resonate with their specific concerns.
Sales Partnership: Collaborate closely with Account Executives to shape deal strategy, contribute technical perspectives to account planning, and drive opportunities forward by proactively identifying and removing technical barriers to close.
Proof of Value Execution: Design and execute scoped evaluation plans that prove our solution's impact, working directly with prospect technical teams to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and measurable results during the trial phase.
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Coach junior Sales Engineers on technical approaches and process best practices, share insights from customer engagements that inform product development, and take ownership of specific SE projects that improve team effectiveness.
Technical Problem-Solving: Efficiently troubleshoot moderate technical issues, anticipate common integration challenges, and collaborate with product and engineering teams on complex scenarios—ensuring prospects experience our technical capabilities at their best.
 
What You'll Bring
You're the kind of technical professional who loves the challenge of complex sales, stays current on cybersecurity trends, and genuinely enjoys being the expert who helps customers succeed while driving revenue growth.
2-5 years of technical sales or sales engineering experience, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise software where you've successfully closed complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
Deep technical knowledge in cybersecurity, security awareness, or related domains—you can speak credibly about threats, compliance requirements, and technical architecture with both security practitioners and business leaders.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to adapt your presentation style based on audience—explaining technical concepts clearly to executives while diving deep into API integrations with IT teams.
Strategic sales acumen—you understand the full sales cycle, can navigate complex organizations, contribute meaningfully to deal strategy, and know how to position solutions that win against top competitors.
Self-directed work style with strong organizational abilities—you manage multiple complex deals simultaneously, follow through on commitments, and take initiative to move opportunities forward without constant supervision.
Collaborative mindset with natural mentorship abilities—you build trust quickly, work effectively across sales and technical teams, and take satisfaction in elevating those around you.
 
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience with security awareness training, phishing simulation, or compliance management solutions
  • Technical certifications in cybersecurity (Security+, CISSP, CEH, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with mail environments, Active Directory, SCIM provisioning, or SSO integrations
