
QA Lead
Ensures the products that ship to customers meet a high quality standard. Owns the QA Engineer agent — the AI that writes test cases, executes tests, creates unit tests, performs regression testing, and validates that implementations meet acceptance criteria. Defines the quality gate standards that determine whether a release is ready. Does not test manually — the QA Engineer agent does that.

Define and enforce quality standards across all products

Conduct quality audits and trend analysis across products
QA Engineer Agent Ownership

Own the QA Engineer agent — train and improve its skills to catch defects, write comprehensive tests, and validate requirements

Define testing templates, coverage requirements, and defect classification standards

Improve agent skills to reduce false positives and increase defect detection rates
Quality Governance

Resolve quality disputes and edge cases that the QA agent cannot handle

Collaborate with Product Engineers when quality issues require product decisions

Track quality metrics: defect escape rate, test coverage, regression pass rates

Collaborate with Software Architect on code quality vs. test quality intersection
