About the role:

We’re looking for an East-Coast based Recruiter to help Known build world-class Science teams. You’ll focus on sourcing top talent across Media Buying, Data Science, and Engineering, and occasionally help other teams grow too.

As a recruiter, you’ll own the full life-cycle recruitment process: finding passive talent, identifying qualified candidates, and guiding them through to hire. You’ll be the connector between brilliant minds and exciting opportunities at Known.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Maintain proactive and creative sourcing practices, identifying and engaging top passive candidates.
  • Screen and evaluate candidates for technical qualifications and alignment with team values and role expectations.
  • Guide candidates through the recruiting and interview process, prioritizing a seamless and positive experience.
  • Build and maintain trusted partnerships with hiring managers, providing responsive, high-touch support.
  • Establish and sustain a pipeline for recurring positions and future roles.
  • Manage job requisitions end-to-end, including obtaining approvals, collaborating with Talent Operations on pay bands and transparency, and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
  • Communicate updates on candidate progress and hiring pipeline advancements to Talent, Finance, and business practice stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Team to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to onboarding.
  • Conduct post-mortems with Talent and Hiring Managers to evaluate integration and refine recruiting practices.

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU HAVE

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, with a proven track record of sourcing and placing top talent.
  • Specialized in technical and media roles, including Media Buying, Data Science, Engineering, and other technical fields.
  • Advertising agency or tech start-up experience preferred. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Self-motivated and proactive. You know how to identify qualified candidates and guide them seamlessly through the full recruiting process.
  • Serious sourcing chops. LinkedIn, online resources, or your personal network—you know exactly where to find the right candidates.
  • ATS-savvy, preferably with Greenhouse, and able to keep pipelines organized and up to date.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable. You thrive in rapidly changing environments and can shift priorities without missing a beat.
  • Independent problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex hiring processes efficiently.
  • Relationship-builder extraordinaire. You earn trust and collaborate effortlessly with candidates, hiring managers, third-party recruiters, and universities.
  • Personable, positive, and forward-thinking. A natural people person who others enjoy working with.
  • Exceptional communicator and marketer. Your verbal and written skills help you sell opportunities and inspire candidates to say yes.

The hrly rate for this position is $48-$60 per hr. 

            This range is posted in compliance with state and municipal Pay Transparency laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to receive additional Known benefits.
