
Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to expand the Manufacturing group’s electrical expertise. This role will be a key member of our Mountain View Manufacturing team and play an integral part in landing electrical, automotive harness, and PCB/A strategies as we scale.
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with the design and integration team in establishing electrical/electromechanical manufacturing best practices
- Own and manage electrical issues related to manufacturing
- Own our automotive harness manufacturing supplier base and strive for excellence in manufacturing
- Work with the manufacturing test team and collaborate on test equipment specification and build out
- Collaborate with electrical design in vehicle harness routing, assembly, and testing strategies
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in regulated industries
- Experience with automotive, aerospace, or heavy industry electrical harness manufacturing and assembly
- Factory experience and DFM experience a plus
- Ability to identify, root cause and lead solutions for issues found on the line and in the field
- Ability to manage multiple components and product lines
- Experience launching and stabilizing manufacturing facilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills

The pay range listed below reflects the base salary in our SF/Silicon Valley location, across several internal levels. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors including: work location, experience, relevant training, education, skill level and performance during interview. Total compensation at Kodiak includes base pay, equity, bonus and a competitive benefits package

$165,000 - $200,000 USD
