Job Summary
As a Revenue Cycle Intelligence Associate, you will lead customer initiatives and support the development and delivery of technology-enabled service offerings. You’ll work closely with customers to leverage Kodiak’s analytics platform to drive operational improvements and financial performance across the revenue cycle. This role requires a blend of healthcare revenue cycle expertise, analytical acumen, and customer-facing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Engagement Managers with customer engagements focused on revenue cycle transformation and performance improvement.
- Analyze complex healthcare data sets to identify trends, root causes, and actionable insights.
- Develop and present detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure successful delivery solution.
- Provide subject matter expertise on revenue cycle operations, KPIs, and best practices.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Support product development by identifying opportunities for innovation and automation.
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and strategic planning sessions.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites as needed (estimated <20%).
- Foster an environment of ownership of project and customer success
Required Qualifications
A strong candidate will possess:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, analytics, or consulting.
- Prior experience in a professional services or consulting environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with or for RCM vendors, health systems, or payers is highly valued.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
Domain Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of revenue cycle KPIs, workflows, and operational levers (e.g., denials, A/R, cash collections, charge capture).
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial and operational data to non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP, RHIA, CRCR, HFMA certifications, or other relevant credentials.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience crafting executive-level presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
