The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a Senior Director of Brand to shape and amplify KOHO’s identity as the go-to fintech for consumers. This is a high-impact role for a visionary who can craft a brand that doesn’t just compete, it connects deeply with everyday people. You’ll champion a consumer-first narrative, bring high-horsepower execution to everything you do, and turn our brand into a household name that sparks trust, excitement, and loyalty.
What You’ll Do:
- Shape a Consumer-Centric Brand Vision: Define, own and champion a world-class brand and brand strategy.
- Be the Brand’s Biggest Advocate: Inspire employees, partners, and consumers alike by living and breathing our brand, making it a rallying cry for why we exist.
- Lead Consumer Focused Execution: Drive the creation of campaigns, messaging, and visuals that cut through the noise. Think scroll-stopping ads, viral moments, and a tone that feels human and approachable.
- Unite Teams Around the Consumer: Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Design to ensure every touchpoint, from app UX to social media, delivers a consistent, consumer-obsessed brand experience.
- Move Fast, Win Big: Bring high horsepower energy to execute at scale, iterate quickly, and seize opportunities in a competitive consumer fintech landscape.
- Track What Matters: Use consumer insights, sentiment, and data to measure brand love, refine strategies, and grow our reach among target audiences.
- Stay Consumer Connected: Keep your finger on the pulse of consumer trends, cultural shifts, and fintech innovations to keep KOHO fresh, relevant, and ahead of the pack.

- Consumer Brand Expert: You have built brands that consumers do not just recognize. They adore them, ideally in fintech, tech, or consumer driven spaces.
- High Horsepower Leader: You are a powerhouse who thrives in fast paced settings, delivering big results with speed, precision, and passion.
- Storytelling Pro: You know how to craft narratives and identities that resonate emotionally and stick with everyday people.
- Team Motivator: You have led creative and marketing teams to build consumer experiences that spark conversation and drive action.
- Consumer Obsessed: You get what makes consumers tick, whether it is convenience, trust, aspiration or something else. You have a knack for turning insights into impact.
- Results Focused: You have tied brand work to real consumer wins. Think sign ups, engagement, or word of mouth buzz.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of brand, marketing, or creative leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Proven success scaling consumer-facing brands (fintech, D2C, or tech experience a big plus).
- Track record of launching strategies that won over consumers and drove measurable growth.
- Stellar communication skills with the ability to sell a vision to the C-suite and spark creativity in your team.
- Comfortable thriving in the ambiguity of a high-growth, consumer-first environment.

Compensation at KOHO is determined through various factors including but not limited to: comparable salary market data within Canada, technical skill assessment, a holistic view of previous work history, and internal pay equity with other KOHO team members.
Target Base Salary Range
$185,000 - $235,000 CAD
