We are currently hiring Certified Bilingual Spanish Substitute Teachers for the 2025-26 school year to support KIPP Texas schools in Houston. You can start the interview process right away!

You’ll need:
- 1+ year(s) working with students in both English and Spanish settings (classroom, tutoring, coaching, camps, etc.)
- Pro tip: To put your best foot forward, please include all relevant experience working with students on your resume to be considered for this role!
- One of the following Texas Teacher Certifications (proof of valid certification required):
- Generalist (EC–6) with Bilingual Supplemental
- Bilingual Generalist – Spanish (EC–4)
- Minimum of 48 college credit hours
- Confidence to manage a classroom of students
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong belief that every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world
- Ability to pass state & federal background checks
- Out-of-pocket costs will be reimbursed after 10 teaching assignments
