Client Relations Assistant
The Client Relations Assistant will support the Marketing, Client Relations, and Business Development team and report directly to the Director of Client Relations. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the department, facilitating excellent client service, and enhancing our firm's marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. They will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of client data, event logistics, and contributing to the overall success of our client relations initiatives.
Duties Include:
- Track, process, and execute community sponsorships and memberships to enhance the firm’s visibility and community involvement.
- Process new client mailing list preferences to ensure accurate and timely delivery of communications.
- Process prospective client inquiries via the firm website.
- Maintain the integrity of data in Nexl (CRM System) by updating client information and ensuring data accuracy.
- Provide event support to the Events and Client Relations Coordinator, including working at the College World Series hospitality tent, leading coordination of networking events for attorneys, and supporting various client events.
- Draft survey submissions with the Director of Client Relations(Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers).
- Draft press releases and social media content in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Coordinator.
- Conduct background research on firm prospects to support business development initiatives.
- Help track and order promotional marketing items and client gifts (including closing, thank you, congrats and condolences gifts)
- Assist with electronic delivery of event invitations and email alerts.
- Maintain the firm’s breakroom slides and intranet content to ensure up-to-date internal communication.
- Assists with special projects/assignments as requested.
What you need:
- B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Management, or related field.
- One to two years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Possess outstanding grammar and proofreading skills with high attention to detail, ensuring all communications are clear, professional, and error-free.
- Demonstrated experience and skill in drafting, editing, and reviewing content for various mediums.
- Ability to interact tactfully, effectively, and professionally with staff, attorneys, clients, and the general public, maintaining a high standard of service.
- Strong organizational skills to move forward projects and tasks efficiently, collaborating effectively with the marketing and client relations team, attorneys and clients.
- Previous experience in event planning or support is a plus, demonstrating capability in handling logistics and ensuring successful execution.
- Ability to move forward projects and tasks with attorneys and their relationships.
- Willingness to assist with special projects and assignments as requested, showcasing a proactive approach and readiness to adapt to changing needs.
