Senior Talent Partner (Contract)

United States

We Breathe Life Into Data

At Komodo Health, our mission is to reduce the global burden of disease. And we believe that smarter use of data is essential to this mission. That’s why we built the Healthcare Map — the industry’s largest, most complete, precise view of the U.S. healthcare system — by combining de-identified, real-world patient data with innovative algorithms and decades of clinical experience. The Healthcare Map serves as our foundation for a powerful suite of software applications, helping us answer healthcare’s most complex questions for our partners. Across the healthcare ecosystem, we’re helping our clients unlock critical insights to track detailed patient behaviors and treatment patterns, identify gaps in care, address unmet patient needs, and reduce the global burden of disease.

As we pursue these goals, it remains essential to us that we stay grounded in our values: be awesome, seek growth, deliver “wow,” and enjoy the ride. At Komodo, you will be joining a team of ambitious, supportive Dragons with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion to deliver on our mission to reduce the burden of disease — and enjoy the journey along the way.

Working Pacific Time Zone is required for this role.

The Opportunity at Komodo Health:

We're looking for a West Coast based contract recruiter to join us for around 4 months (extensions likely). You'll own full-cycle recruiting across a mix of technical and non-technical roles, and you'll move between them as business priorities shift. This is a fast-paced, evolving environment, so you'll often need to make progress without a defined playbook. If your default mode is triaging inbound applications, this is not the role for you. This role is about going out and building pipeline, not waiting for it to arrive.

You'll likely carry 7-12 reqs at a time, so a big part of the job is deciding where your time will have the most impact based on business needs.

How we work
We're an AI-forward team, and we expect you to use AI to expand your reach and coverage. You'll have access to Claude and Claude Code, Glean, Metaview, and Noon.AI, plus a library of agents and skills we've already built. You won't be starting from scratch.

We also take candidate experience seriously. Our rolling candidate satisfaction score is 82%, across both hired and rejected candidates who make it through panel interviews. We expect you to protect that standard: clear communication, respect for candidates' time, and a thoughtful experience whether or not they get the offer.

Onboarding
Expect an intense, fast onboarding. We'll get you into live searches quickly, so you'll need to ramp fast and ask good questions early.

These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for …

  • Run full-cycle searches from intake through offer, partnering closely with hiring managers
  • Proactively source, screen, and engage candidates for both technical and non-technical roles
  • Champion a diverse pipeline by building slates that reflect a broad range of backgrounds and holding hiring managers to objective, structured criteria
  • Use AI tools and existing agents and skills to extend your sourcing, screening, and coverage
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience at every stage, including for candidates we don't move forward
  • Keep our ATS accurate and current so our pipeline data can be trusted
  • Hold a high bar for process: structured screens, scorecards, and clear candidate communication
  • Spot problems early and fix them, whether that's a stalled req, a vague intake, or a process gap

What you bring to Komodo Health (required):

  • You must be located in the Pacific Time zone
  • A proven track record recruiting at a startup or tech company or in an agency recruiting for tech roles
  • Hands-on experience with customizable ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Ashby, or Lever
  • Comfort in ambiguity. When you hit a wall, your first move is to find the answer or build the solution, not wait for direction
  • Ability to prioritize across a heavy req load and switch between technical and non-technical searches without losing momentum
  • A genuine commitment to candidate experience and to building diverse pipelines
  • Clear understanding of when and where to use AI in recruiting workflows
  • Strong judgment, clear communication, and a sense of urgency

The hourly rate for this role is $75-80/HR.
