The Opportunity at Komodo Health:
Komodo is seeking a proven sales leader to step into the Emerging Markets Solution Strategist role to drive our work with and through the channel/account teams to deliver sales within the Emerging segment.
The Solution Strategist will work closely with Komodo Sales and Strategy leaders to design and execute the GTM playbook for direct sales of Komodo Emerging software and services to end clients and partners. This person will also have the opportunity to partner with Customer Success leadership to ensure optimal account strategy and customer engagement and execute against retention goals.
Ultimately, the Emerging Markets Solution Strategist role is an opportunity for a thoughtful, energetic, proactive leader to further shape and scale sales within this critical market segment.

- Built and delivered an Emerging sales GTM playbook for software and services
- Enhanced sales prospecting tactics, execution and outcomes for the Emerging Markets
- Built high-value partnerships that deliver direct and indirect ARR for the business
- Achieved annual segment growth quota (ARR & NRR) addition
You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…
- Producing artifacts for channel/account sales enablement needs (messaging, collateral, training, etc.)
- Driving strategic and enterprise-level Emerging strategy for our customers
- Facilitating qualification, deal cycle participation, account reviews and value assessments
- Serving as a key SME, leader, and consultant to our Channel/Account sales teams
- Actively managing the prospect/client sales cycle including stakeholder meetings, proposal development & delivery, pipeline management, and client transition to implementation
- Working with our Operations team to optimize (and/or establish) processes for pipeline management, reporting, etc.
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
- 8 + years of experience in sales or consulting or working for a biopharma company in emerging analytics
- The ability to create assets from scratch, including marketing, sales, and strategy solutions
- Worked within a software/data/consulting landscape with a specific focus on the Life Sciences and/or Healthcare Verticals
- Built and delivered sales GTM playbooks
- Delivered against teamwide sales enablement needs (messaging, collateral, training, etc.)
- Enhanced sales prospecting tactics, execution, and outcomes
- Established and executed account strategy and retention playbooks
- Experience driving a strategic selling motion, including value propositions, execution planning, teaming, and outcomes based engagements
- Demonstrated broad influence leading cross-functionally in organizations and managing/developing teams
- Deep understanding of data assets
- Is an absolute expert in the Emerging market segment (use cases, challenges, solutions)
Additional skills and experience we’ll prioritize (nice to have)…
- Prior experience selling or consulting on products involving data or healthcare technology
- Exposure to Epidemiology is a plus

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.
The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition, this role is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy.
San Francisco Bay Area and New York City:
$175,000 - $190,000 USD
All Other US Locations:
$152,000 - $170,000 USD

Where You’ll Work
Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
