Staff Accountant

Our Whitefield-based team is our innovation hub and a critical part of how we build and scale globally. As Staff Accountant, you will support the core financial operations that keep Konovo running with accuracy and discipline. You will work across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and project accounting, ensuring our financial data is clean, timely, and reliable.  

You will partner closely with the Finance team and a global set of cross-functional stakeholders, helping us operate with clarity as we scale. If you take pride in getting the details right and moving forward with pace, this is a role where you will have immediate impact.  

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded with proper documentation 

• Own the contractor invoicing process, including coordination with internal teams and contractors to ensure timely and accurate billing 

• Own accounts receivable and payable processes, including application of payments and vendor balance management 

• Perform bank and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies quickly 

• Support project accounting by creating project records and validating revenue data in Sage Intacct 

• Track and reconcile prepaid balances, including incentive-related accounts 

• Prepare working papers and compile data to support monthly financial reporting 

• Partner with senior accountants on financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting activities 

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial information is clear, accurate, and actionable 

 What We’re Looking For:

• You are responsive and reliable when partnering with finance and cross-functional global teams 

• You are organised and able to manage multiple priorities without dropping quality 

• You are comfortable working in Excel, ERP platforms, and emerging AI-enabled tools, with sound judgment on data integrity and responsible use of technology 

• You bring a problem-solving mindset and proactively investigate discrepancies or gaps 

• You are early in your accounting career and motivated to build strong foundations in a scaling environment 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience. 

• You adapt quickly and work well with others to navigate change and deliver outcomes
