Life Sciences Programming Team Lead

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Konovo is a global healthcare intelligence company on a mission to transform research through technology- enabling faster, better, connected insights.

Konovo provides healthcare organizations with access to over 2 million healthcare professionals—the largest network of its kind globally. With a workforce of over 200 employees across 5 countries: India, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the United Kingdom, Mexico, and the United States, we collaborate to support some of the most prominent names in healthcare. Our customers include over 300 global pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, research agencies, and consultancy firms. As we transition from a service-oriented model to a product-driven platform, we are expanding our remote team.

We are building a high-performing programming and operations function within Client Success. As Manager, you will build and lead a small, regionally distributed team responsible for survey programming, quality assurance, and platform operations at scale.

You will own how work gets done. This includes defining workflows, improving quality, and enabling researchers and clients to move faster with confidence. You will operate at the intersection of research, technology, and execution. The systems you and your team will build will be scalable, solve problems in real time, and raise the bar for how we deliver across our platform.

If you enjoy building structure in fast-moving environments and leading teams that deliver with precision, this role is for you.

 How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Build and lead a high performing team of 2-4 survey programmers across multiple geographies.
  • Define an operational model for optimal collaboration and ways of working between researchers and programmers across multiple clients and geographies.
  • Support high volume research execution by quickly and efficiently programming simple and complex surveys across multiple survey platforms depending on project needs (e.g., proprietary platforms, third-party tools), adapting approach based on research requirements and platform capabilities
  • Become expert in multiple survey platforms and adapt programming approach based on platform capabilities and research requirements
  • Provide quality control by performing checks prior to survey launch, testing all logic, quotas and data capture, validating survey performance across devices.
  • Facilitate customer use of our platform, managing our “help” feature by quickly and effectively answering client questions and providing tips. Track issues and create tickets to drive product enhancements.
  • Support data impact by providing data to clients, including conducting simple analyses, creating cross tabs and doing data matches as needed.
  • Upskill the CS Team by maintaining working knowledge of platform updates, capabilities, and limitations
  • Partner with Product team to translate user feedback into platform improvements and enhancements, influencing how Konovo’s technology evolves.
  • Support fieldwork success by monitoring survey performance, troubleshooting issues, and escalating risks early to the client-facing research teams.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve programming efficiency, automate workflows, and increase team output

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience designing and executing survey-based market research projects, ideally in health or life sciences
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Qualtrics, Decipher, or similar tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience working in customer engagement and workflow tools (e.g. Intercom) to manage inbound queries, build structured response workflows, and improve support efficiency within a survey or research platform
  • Strong understanding of survey logic, quotas, and data quality best practices
  • Experience with advanced methodologies such as conjoint or MaxDiff preferred
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced Excel skills; comfortable working with data outputs and basic analysis
  • Track record of improving processes, not just executing them
  • Clear, structured communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and supporting global teams
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) is a plus.
  • Willing to work flexibly and support team coverage across UK working hours, US Eastern time and US West Coast time
  • Comfortable leveraging AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows, improve response quality, and increase speed without compromising data integrity or customer experience

Why Konovo?

  • Work on cutting-edge AI-powered solutions and industry leading services that transform healthcare insights.
  • Be part of a mission-driven company that is revolutionizing healthcare decision-making.
  • Join a fast-growing global team with career advancement opportunities.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, remote work environment that values innovation and flexibility.
  • Make a real-world impact by helping healthcare organizations innovate faster.

If you’re eager to build a meaningful career in healthcare market research — and you’re smart, nice, and driven to make an impact — we’d love to hear from you!
